An Art Website for the Poet Václav Beránek
Václav Beránek needed a new personal website that would be modern and visually striking while still reflecting his natural style. We collaborated on the project with developer Mirek Rohlíček, who had already worked with Václav on the previous version of the site. This time, we handled the complete design and artistic direction of the new website.

Design built on personality
We developed the visual style from the new logo featuring a heart on wheels. We transferred its turquoise, coral, and dark blue color scheme to the entire website and complemented it with a light, calm background. The result is a playful and human design that naturally connects Václav's story, poetry, the book When Love Comes… and blog articles.
Portraits created using AI
One of the most striking elements of the website are Vašek's illustrated portraits. Using the latest generation of AI tools and agents, we experimented with various artistic directions and searched for a style that would preserve his likeness but at the same time feel more personal than a regular photograph.
In the end, the client was most drawn to delicate drawings resembling watercolors and water-based paints. These became the main visual motif of the homepage. They give the website a lightness, originality, and artistic character that harmonizes well with Vašek's work and his personal story.
